It all started once we got to York College. Early in Sam Burleson's senior year in High School, he asked his friend, Nathan Rowedder, if he would learn to play bass guitar so they could start a band. So Nate started to learn and soon they found a drummer. Now this drummer was good but never wanted to play so he was soon dropped from the band. After their senior year both Nate and Sam went to York College. One of Sam's friends, Tom Phifer, from camp in Iowa had transfered from ACU to YC and was soon asked to join the band. The three-some started looking for a drummer. After quite some looking we came across Dave Cooper. Dave turned out to be a perfect match for the band and now are called Collateral Damage.
