We stayed for 2 nights at Monkey Valley (where we got married), 2 nights at Leisure Isle Lodge in Knysna, 2 nights at Knysna Log-inn and 1 bonus night at Cape Agulhas (The southern tip of Africa). During our trip we touched & fed elephants, went to see monkeys just past Plettenberg bay (which I definately recommend), walked across the longest rope bridge in the southern hemisphere (apparently) and rode on the only paddle boat (boat with rotating paddles) in South Africa. We also went to the beach.

After all that relaxing I am now back at work.

We spent our first 2 nights at Monkey Valley (where we got married) this is the view of the reception venue from our room.
Our room was called "bumblebee"

We drove to Leisure Isle Lodge on an island called "Leisure Isle" in Knysna, where we stayed for 2 days.

Our next stay was for 2 days at the "Knysna Log-Inn", a wooden hotel

We drove to Knysna Elephant Park. Even baby elephants are bigger than us.

Touching an elephant is like touching a wall. This young elephant will still grow to twice his size.

This was an intelligent elephant, who twisted his trunk upwards, so that I could drop some food onto it for him to eat.

Just past Plettenberg bay is a place called "Monkeyland". It was really worth visiting.
We walked around in the forest filled with cute monkeys

Our next stop was Cape Agulhas (The southern tip of africa). The beach nearby is amazing. I think it's called "Struisbaai".
We stayed at Agulhas Country Lodge for our last honeymoon night.

Here we are at the southern tip of Africa, just to prove that we were there!
There's a lighthouse there. Niki & I climbed the old ladders to get to the top.
