Kerplunk was Green Days second album. It was released under Lookout! Records. Tre Cool joins the band and replaces former drummer Al Sobrante. The album contains 4 of GD's additional songs (from when they were known as "Sweet Children")...after the main tracks. This album contains GD's best lyrics as they are about life and are more meaningfull. There were 3 hits off this album "2000 Light Years Away," "Christie Road" and "One Of My Lies". And Green Day were just starting to get some fame.
