Green Day! There a Californian based punk group who have been around since the beginning of the early 90's. The members Billie Joe Armstrong, Tre' Cool and Mike Dirnt have produced 5 albums to date. With their most succsessful "Dookie" released in 1994 being awarded the 2nd most succsessful alternative release of the 90's and has reached the 15 Million sales mark! With some cool songs and their bizzare stage behaviour Green Day are one of the top all round bands of today!

In Green Day News- Billie Joe Armstrong will be working with former Beastie Boy, DJ Hurricane, on his second solo album. The guys are currently in the studio (according to TVT Records reps), recording a remake of the Queen anthem "We Will Rock You". No word yet on how the recording is going or when the album will be released.

March 28- Green Day's 'nimrod.' cd has been re-released in Australia with bonus tracks "Do Da Da", "Suffocate", "Desensitized", and "You Lied". Apparently the nimrod circles are orange on this one instead of yellow. The "Nice Guys Finish Last" single has been released and doesn't contain any previously unreleased songs. Track listing for the single is as follows; NGFL, Time Of Your Life (Live), She (Live), The Grouch (Live).

March 7- Billie Joe has turned 27 on feburary 17th. The "Nice Guys Finish Last" single has been released in USA but not yet in Australia! It should be Soon! Also The Aussie alternative music mag 'Massive' had Dookie at no. 4 in the 100 albums you must hear before you die! Nirvanas 'nevermind' was number 1.
