NEGU GORRIAK

 "After Kortatu, the Muguruza brothers, joining Kaki Arkarazo, formed Negu Gorriak: two guitars, a rythm box and a singer as irascible as before. A début that broke the state's pop scene. Anyway they even sounded weak (Bertso-Hop). Negu played the speed metal before than Su Ta Gar and other groups (Irakatsi ziguten historia), made an agressive nationalist rock (Nahi duzuena-Milenioa II), tributed the black musicians (Sam Cooke...), took the philosophy from Spike Lee (Radio Rahim) and touched the feelings (Amodiozko kanta). They organized also tropical feasts (Raggamuffin jaia), by nearly always they walked on the edge."
