GORA HERRIA

GORA HERRIA

"In this maxi's cover appear Fidel Castro's troops riding horses while entering in a Cuba which has just accepted the communism. With this work, Negu Gorriak started being members of the internationalist rock élite like the divine and featuring Mano Negra. The seven tracks are opened by Antón Reixa introducing the Gora Herria collage, a tropical dance (they would like to call it pachanga) with trikitixa (basque accordion), basque ska, bertsos (basque popular poetry) and corridobilly, a fantastic feast, a total party. They completed the disc with a jamaican dub via The Clash (B.S.O.) and in the side B we can find superfunk lives, some reggae and Kortatu's Zu atrapatu arte version.."
