I lost some of the most important things in my life that night. I lost a band that I have put 4 years of hard work into. I also lost one of my closest friends. Chad, our guitar player, moved to Color do the day after our last show. Chad and I have been friends for about 11 years. I will miss him dearly. Even though we will probably stay in contact things will never be the same. I guess that's something I'll have to handle every morning I get up out of bed. I've been in a ton a bands over the years that I have been a musician and Floodplain buy far has been the best band I have ever been in. We all connected musically and emotionally. There was a bond in this band that was very strong. I feel that a par of myself has died along with Floodplain. I will never forget all the shows we played and all the times we shared with each other and all the wonderful people that graced us with their beauty at our shows. Our last show in Omaha will always have a specia place in my heart because so many wonderful Sioux Falls people drove a long distance to see our final performance. I will never forget that as long as I live. Thank you so much for evrything. You all mean so much to us. For those of you that care: Nate, att, and I have started a new band called the Valentine's Day Dance. We do not have a singer yet but we plan to tour this summer. So be on the lookout.
