it always begins...
Once
upon another time, in A.S. XVII, a single soul driven by emotions of megalomania
and love for the dark, began a magickal quest
in the divine art of music. This being was and is known as SAURON.
From a dark ambient electronic background, the mastermind evolved his ideas
into something extremely original, all according
to his plans, which later took form into what
would be later known as the legendary
"Shadows
Eve".
This
demo took almost two years in the forge creativity
to complete. This demo has
almost
reached a cult status in the black/dark and
sympho-metal scene, receiving interviews
and
extremely praising reviews in the most established underground
publications and
radio
stations which gave APOTHEOSIS further exposure and appreciation,
much
to the pleasure and contempt of the Dark Lord.
The
art of Sauron reflects a more matured song-writer and musician.
It
is the product of years of musical meditation
and experimentation.
A
perfect blend of Classical and Chamber with an ever- present
atmosphere
of
horror and the macabre, pure Medieval and Epoch music. All this blended
to
the
might of Metal forced to the extreme. If you
already experienced "Shadows Eve"
you
will be shocked by the extraordinary evolution
in the newer creations of Apotheosis.
The
music stands on a very high artistic standard.
With his unique approach, Sauron's plans
succeeded
in bringing a rich breath of fresh air in
the over saturated black metal scene.
Apotheosis
is now a signed band, to a serious label and it is none other than Norway's
Nocturnal
Art Productions. In the meantime... enjoy the sun... and the flowers...
