Something I Love

I love my jeans
not too small
maybe a bit too big
the bottoms all ripped up
broken in and comfortable
I’d wear them every day
if i could
but they have to be washed
when they come out of the wash
I have to crumple them up
and throw them on the floor
for a while, to soften them up
so I can wear them again, 
until its time for them 
to be washed again.
