Here's some tab for the Cure song "Untitled", my favourite Cure song. I
worked out most of this just by listenening to the version on Disintegration
and the live version on Entreat. If you've never heard Entreat, buy
it--the Entreat versions are all better than the album versions.
There are no actual guitars in this song; just basses and Fender Bass VIs
(although I've arranged the Bass VIs for guitar since very few own them).
KEYBOARD (arr. for guitar)

This keyboard part repeats throughout the whole song.

BASS 1
------
After about 5 years of being confused, I finally realized that the very
interesting and subtle bass sound comes from the fact that there are in fact
two basses in the song. The first bass seems to have all it's lows and some
of its mids cut, so it sounds high and clicky. The second bass is all lows
and mids, and the two complement each other well.

I've never seen them play Untitled live, but from the Entreat album, it
sounds like Porl plays this on a Bass VI.

GUITAR 2 (Bass VI) - HARMONY to MAIN THEME
-------------------------------------------
This second Bass VI part comes in between the second and third verses,
and harmonizes the main theme. Robert just leaves it out of the live
version (i.e. it isn't too important).

GUITAR 1 (Bass VI) - SOLO MOTIFS
--------------------------------
The outro for this song basically consists of a bunch of Bass VI motifs
played over the G-C progression. On the studio version, they're really
layered so there's not much point in trying to write them as a sequence.
I'll just give you some of the motifs roughly in order, and you can mix
and match at will. You also might want to use a delay effect.

MOTIF 8 (live only)
In the live version Robert plays this simple but very nice run:
e||-------------------------------------------------|
b||-------------------------------------------------|
g||-------------------------------------------------|
d||-------------------------------------------------|
a||-------14----14----14-14----14----14-14----14----|
e||-------------------------------------------------|

e|--------------------------------------------------|
1 . : . 2 . : . 3 . : . 4 . : .
e|--------------------------|--------------------------------|
b|--------------------------|--------------------------------|
g|--------------------------|--------------------------------|
d|--------------------------|--------------------------------|
a|--7--5--5--5--5--5--5--7--|-7//9--9--10-10/12!-12-12/14-14-|
e|--------------------------|--------------------------------|
1 . 2 . 3 . 4 . 1 . 2 . 3 . 4 . : .
...which leads to a very fast and rhythmic run, similar to motif 6 but
with more notes.
Actually, if you want to play the solo like how he plays it live, it
goes together something like this:
1) plays variations on main theme
2) plays motif 3
3) plays motif 4
4) plays motif 8
5) plays fast variation on motif 6 (see above)
6) plays motif 7
7) ends with repeated variations on motif 4
