O melhor de todos os álbums do Iron Maiden. A melhor coisa que poderia ter acontecido à banda era mesmo a saída de Di'anno e a entrada de Bruce Dickinson. É sem sombra de dúvidas um dos álbums
mais pesados. Sairam dele clássicos como RUN TO THE HILLS, a sublime HALLOWED BE THY NAME e é claro, THE NUMBER OF THE BEAST.

COMENT: Uma das melhores músicas do Maiden. Letra bastante realista sobre como seria um ataque de vikings, nação denômades que viviam de guerras e saques.

COMENT: A letra recorre à série de mesmo nome (que foi recentemente
refilmada). O diálogo do início da música foi retirado da
série. Na série um ex-agente secreto é deposto e enviado
para uma espécie de prisão chamada THE VILLAGE onde todos
são conhecidos por números ao invés de nomes. O
protagonista é o número 6 e o número 1 é o governante.

COMENT: Escrita baseada no filme The Omem II (A Profecia II). Até
hoje o Iron traz fama de banda satanista por causa desta
música. Na letra um profeta narra as visões que haveria
tido durante um sonho.

rítmo da música é o de uma carga de brigada. Sublime.
