The first time I ever heard live..was the song..lightning crashes..and before that I had never felt a song that could carry such stong emotions in it..It made me cry..So i went out and bought throwing copper..Maybe the greatest cd I have ever bought. Cool site. I think LIVE is one of the best bands of the 90's. Actually, the are one of the best bands I have seen in concert. They are a non-trendy, no frills, no BS rock band. They have impeccable talent. I met them back in early 93 when I was interning or a radio station in Philadelphia. Of course I didn't know who they were considering there were so many local bands that came in there. I think they will be around for a long time, longer than most of these 90's bands who are out today. By the way. I love the LIVECAM and the RealPlayer on the York site! Technology is good.......Can't wait to hear the new tunes!!!

Live has covered the Furs, but will they ever do a U2 song again? The influence U2 had on them is very obvious. i have been lucky enough to see live during both the throwing copper tour at star lake in pittsburgh, and the secret samadhi at bryce jordan in state college. (incidentally i just missed out on getting tix to the crow bar, their "unannounced" opening gig, and had to wait like forever till they came back to town!!) both times they kicked some major ass!!!!!anyways, thanks so much for the really cool site. and chad, if you see this, keep inspiring us!! you are the greatest!!!!
