Hobbies: Singing, driving around, swimming when I can, working out, SLEEPING, rollerblading...and hangin out with my friends, of course.. and lately KARAOKE is the best fun I can have... bowling and going to concerts have been high on my list-o-fun too!

Activities: Well, since I can't be part of Discovery (youth ministry) at home until fall of 2005... I've just joined a retreat (NIK) team for my last semester on campus. Also, since I can't sing for Life Teen masses at home, I'm gonna join the Newman choir, for my final spring semester. I can't handle not having singing in my life, on a regular basis.... My extra time goes to hanging out with my friends, working out and avoiding boredom - although, lately.. there is no such thing as extra time! Anyone who knows me, knows I hate to be alone and it happens way too often, so the boredom thing leads to my little funks... if anyone's ever bored, you can always call me - you know I wanna hang out!!!

My Job: Here @ NIU I'm the Campus Rec pool manager and lifeguard at the two pools on campus. On occasion, I go home and I'm a Karaoke DJ - usually Saturday nights in Bartlett. Good money for something I love doing... I worked at a park district with kids before and after school before I came to NIU, but I visit occasionally (the before school and afterschool bunches. I love them!) In the summer, I am a lifeguard at the park district waterpark and I am an assistant supervisor at summer camp at the PD, too.

Interests: I absolutely love music... almost any kind (except ICP... cuz they scare me and the lyrics are just a LITTLE too descriptive for me)... I love playing sports, even though I don't really excel in that area. I love almost any sport, including: softball, swimming, football, volleyball, soccer, 6-base [hahah!!! I miss that one from h.s.], and bowling (I guess it's a sport) cuz I used to go every weekend for 3 hours! Anything is fun when I'm playing with my buds, we have a blast! I can even have fun 'playing' tennis if I want to... I have no hand-eye coordination, but it's fun to just joke around - right, K~tizzle?

Favorite Bands at the Moment: hmmm.... presently I've been listening to a LOT of Gavin DeGraw... boys that sing.. man - I'd take one any day! Ohh.. and I definately go through my John Mayer fixes. Damn is he hot =) All I need is a boy with a guitar and I'm set...haha I'll just list a few more of my recent favorites. 3 Doors Down, Puddle of Mudd, Lit, Incubus, Hoobastank, Default, Stroke 9, Jimmy Eat World, Good Charlotte, Evanescence, Tonic, Trapt.... geez, I guess that's more than a few.. I can't even think now, there are so many songs I like, but I don't want to name a band unless I enjoy the entire cd, cuz then they're more worthy of being on my favorite bands list! I guess I'm an alternative girl at heart, but I gotta love the pop, cuz it's so much fun to sing to!!!!

Fun Concerts Attended: Well, I'll have to throw Hanson in there, since I saw them twice... I've seen Backstreet Boys about twice, and the same with NSYNC... all fun, but I prefer the smaller setting, louder, harder concerts. I really liked Q101's Jamboree in summer 2002 (Local H, Earshot, Our Lady Peace, Quarashi, Hoobastank, Trik Turner, The Strokes [sucked], Unwritten Law, X-Ecutioners, Thursday, Tenacious D, Zwan, Dashboard Confessional, and Kid Rock)... but again... big. I loved seeing Stroke 9, Puddle of Mudd, Lit, Default, Hoobastank (all three times), Jimmy Eat World, and Trapt & Seether in concert too. About a year ago I saw 3 Doors Down with Our Lady Peace and then a month later I saw John Mayer @ the Allstate. Most of these concerts were at the House of Blues or the Riviera Theatre in Chicago - nice and small. WAY TOO MUCH FUN!! HELL YEAH! oh yeah! I 'saw' Jason Mraz @ NIU... tall guys in front of me prevented the actual SEEING, but Dang, can that boy sing and SKAT!?! Holy Cow!

Ambition: I think I want to be an elementary school teacher.... like 3rd through 6th grades. Teaching sounds like a good job for me. Elementary Education or Music Education. One of those. Right now I'm at NIU as an Elementary Education major. I got my Associates Degree from College of DuPage in Spring 2003. If dreams were to come true - I'd be a singer, but keeping it realistic, I think I'll be a teacher - just as fulfilling.

Fav. School Subject: Well... because I LOVE school sooo much... I'll have to say right now I really don't have one... speech @ COD was fun because I hung out with an awesome group... Psych @ COD was cool cuz Christy and Sarah were there and it was easy as hell. Earth Science @ COD was interesting.. the teacher thought Christy and I were jovial. My 4th quarter @ COD, I didn't really have a lot of fun in any of my classes, but Jackie, Matt and I had fun making fun our our teacher everyday in Religious Studies. 5th quarter my classes blew really bad. Child Developmental Psychology was interesting. Geography of the Eastern World SUCKED ASS, but at least Christy and Jimmy were willing to take it with me for a Gen. Ed., Philosophy of World Religions was interesting. Now at NIU I liked my Educational Psychology (cool cuz the teacher was like a normal human), University Choir wasn't too bad. My second year - so far, nothin's been great, but I'm looking forward to graduating on time, hopefully....

Fun Goals: I think it'd be really fun to be in a band one day - I guess I should learn to play an instrument tho, cuz singing won't get me very far. Of course, the lifelong and completely impossible, yet always-fun-to-think-about goal is being a professional singer... again, I probably should take voice lessons or something cuz I've never had professional help, and I think I'd need that.

Pets: 1 turtle, named Runner, but she moved to Maryland with Tommy and Jessica last August. I love my baby, but I think she loves Tommy more, and he gives her more attention than I ever did, so I think this was the smartest move I was able to make. One day I want a puppy... I kinda think shar-peis are kinda cute and so are English Bulldogs, but I've got them silly allergies so I don't know how I'd do with the pet dander thing.

Grade in School: Senior in College - or fourth year, whatever...

School: my alma mater h.s. is LPHS in Illinois, my past college is College of DuPage and my present school is Northern Illinois University. =)

Summer Plans: Well, this summer I plan on lifeguarding again and bein an assistant to Stacy, with Kristen at the P.D. camp. Hopefully we'll get to go campin again too, since this summer I didn't go. Don't ask - summer was just very interesting to say the least...I know Katie Rose wanted to go camping last summer, so hopefully we can figure it out THIS summer! Unless things settle down, it looks as if L.T. will be a long ways in the future, or never again.. Definately screwed that one up, but oh well, I guess
