My Dream Apartment Floor Plan View
The picture above is the floor plan of my dream apartment, although you can't tell by the picture that it would be located near a beach. I first took into consideration the maximum dimensions which I had to work with and built around that. I love the game of pool, so I placed a pool table in the main room, along with my bed, couch, stereo, dresser, and fireplace. Next I created a small space in the corner of the room for my laundry. On either sides of the entrance were the kitchen and bathroom. All the appliances, furniture, and electrical outlets were created using the appropriate tools. Also, I labeled my furniture using the text tool. The deck was constructed using the railings tool, and in order for a floor to be automatically built in, the railing needed to be connected to the actual apartment. Isometric View
To create this view, I clicked on the view tool, and selected the 3-D view tool. Next I adjusted the picture to be able to get a good view of the rooms and the objects in them. Camera View
In order to get this view, I once again went into the picture views, but this time chose the camera view. Once in this view, I moved around the room in order to get the best view. I changed the furniture colors by clicking on the objects and selecting the color I wanted from the color palette.
