They make folk rock. They have the best fans of all. Every tour, a bunch of people called The Travellers follow them. Every concert is sold out. They are called The Levellers

They used to play in pubs. The Levellers sing about the world, the environment, etc. But nog in a boring ‘don’t do this’ – way. Their first big succes is their second album "Levelling the land" with their most famous song "One way" on it. The Levellers become well-known, because of the powerful and exellent live shows they perform.

Between some tours they record the album "Levellers". The press doesn’t like it very much. It’s nothing special they say. I think the album is much better than Zeitgeist, which is reseased in 1995. It contains a studio-sound. It doesn’t sound spontanious.

In 1997 they release their best album "Mouth to mouth". It takes some time to discover the beautiful pieces of music. The cheerful single "(What a) Beautiful Day" is the first single and their biggest hit.
