Neil is currently playing on a Drum Workshop kit. He switched to these drums after the Counter Parts tour and he seems very happy with them. You can hear him talk more about these drums on his video, A Work in Progress.      Neil is currently using Zildjian cymbals and has been for as long as I can remember. He has quite a variety of cymbals, if somewhat toned down from his earlier days.      Neil's drumset sure has changed over the years. He began with a simple Slingerland set and moved through the seventies and eighties with monstrous drumkits composed of every percussion instrument imaginable. Now he plays with the toned-down DW kit you see above. It is still big, by many drummers standards, but it is much more astetically pleasing and seems to be a very logical arrangement.
