AUGUST 2001 KICK OUT THE JAMS MOTHERFUCKERS! It's been a quiet year so far, by our standards. We've
played more shows in London and Dublin than in our "home territory"
(celebrating our 100th gig on the way) - We promise you though - we've been busy
- and our plans are about to come to fruuition. The new Pay*Ola C.D - "THE FELIX E.P"
- will be released in mid-August - and wwe've lined up a great night to launch it
: SATURDAY 11TH AUGUST : EMPIRE MUSIC
HALL, BELFAST support comes from "Blind Eye View" - as well
as guest artists, and a Rock/Alternative D.J. The vibe is Party of the Year - Put this date in your
diary now! We've started lining up the "FELIX CAN FLY" TOUR - some
great nights are on the horizon - check the GIG GUIDE for details. The E.P features no less than 5 tracks - led by brand
new tune FELIX (which debuted in Dublin May 2001) - an upbeat, uplifting rocker
in the "Keep Your Head Up" mould - with a melody and harmonies to melt
your heart. Also included are : Glory On My Mind, When You Leave, What Drives
You? and Let It Flow - all quality tunes, and live favorites. There are no
B-Sides in Pay*Ola's universe - just great songs. This C.D has more hooks than a
fishing tackle shop! As well as at gigs, this C.D will be available at selected
stores throughout Ireland, and through the website - we'll keep you informed. We apologise for the delay in releasing our second E.P
- it will not happen again - we've alreaady started recording the third! Another great piece of news is that we've been
confirmed as performing at the BIG BUZZ COORS LIGHT IRISH ENTERTAINMENT AWARDS,
in the Europa Hotel, Belfast - Friday 28th September. This is a huge night on
the Irish entertainment calendar - and a great recognition of what Pay*Ola have
