Sir Paul McCartney will give his first public reading of his own poems this week as guest at an event in his home city, Liverpool.
He will join playwright Willy Russell and others before a select audience of 400 at the city's Empire Theatre.
His selections will come from his first anthology of poetry, Blackbird Singing, which also includes lyrics from his songwriting.
