| "Love Is All Around"
In May of 1994 WetWetWet released the single "Love Is
All Around" which had featured in the soundtrack of the smash hit film Four Weddings
And A Funeral. The track had been originally written and recorded by ex Troggs member Reg
Presley before the band were asked to cover it. The single became as much of a success as
the feature film it was recorded for and went on to stay at the number 1 position in the
UK charts for 15 weeks, the longest period ever achieved by any British act, becoming the
second biggest-selling single of all time in the process. The band used the title of the
song as the title for their summer tours "Summer Of Love Is All Around" and
"All Around And In The Crowd", both of which were sell outs.
"Picture This"
In April of 1995 Picture This was released and the band
included the song "Love Is All Around" on the album which went straight in to
the number 1 slot in the UK. The band released "Julia Says" which although
beautifully arranged, was concerned with possessiveness. The band followed this up with
"Dont Want To Forgive Me Now" which was released on June 5th
and went straight to number one in the UK. The next single release was on the 18th
September shortly after the band started the first leg of their Picture This Rest Of The
World Tour. The single went into the UK singles chart at number 10 and eventually reached
number 7. The band the released "Shes All On My Mind" and finally
"Morning" in November 1995 and March 1996 respectively.

As well as there most spectacular and well received world
tour ever, their huge success with the single Love Is All Around and the album Picture
This WetWetWet also picked up a few awards including: Top Single from Music Week, Top
Airplay Award for "Love Is All Around" and the best soundtrack award from the
