~~~~~~~~~~~~
The show started with the usual Home by now
followed by Life is a lemon
Then Dead ringer ~ here's a pic.....
I'd lie for you
I'd do anything for love
Lawyers guns & money ~ with Meat & John on drums....
Rock n roll dreams ~ with Rays excellent guitar solo's
Is nothing sacred
Paradise ~ was noticeably shorter again tonight, the curtain got stuck in the middle which was really funny, Meat & Patti went on with the song while two guys climbed up & released it...
The band took a bow & left the stage for the acoustic set
|
Meat took the stage first as usual & asked Charlie to bring on his guitar. Then came a change in the set. Meat then sang 16 tons ~ as he introduced the band. This was the first time we'd heard this on the tour. Then they sang Midnight at the Lost and Found followed by a bit of Modern Girl. Honky Tonk Woman was next with Kas starting followed by Patti Then there was another change ~ Pearl sang I Love Rock’n’Roll ~ this was a great version of the song, she really has a great voice!!!! Also Meat requested that Patti sings her "Debut" song ~ "Oh Darling" After this was Two Outta Three Ain’t Bad with the crowd joining in... then finally for the acoustic set was You Took The Words Right Outta My Mouth |
The stage went back to normal & next was Bat Out of Hell ~ with know Bob The Bat tonight.......
Followed by a great version of Summertime blues ~ with Kas singing the "I'd like to help you son but your to young to vote" bits...
Lastly came an excellent version of Roll over Beethoven
