I sit by the window
Staring into oblivion
In my own lonely world
Unable to grasp that I am empty
Suddenly the door creeps open
And I am startled out of my trance
Only to turn with sunken in-teardropped eyes
To see her.
She comes to me and comforts my soul
By just the touch of a hand on my shoulder
And a knowing understanding look of the eye
She brushes away my tears
And then I awaken
To my darkened
Plain
Moonlit bedroom.
