» CHAPTER ONE «

"Liz I'm sorry. I was stupid to cheat on you. Please forgive me," Howie said.

"Howie no. I can't believe that you could do that to me. Will you just leave. I need to be alone right now," I said

"Fine" he said and with that he walked out.

Ok, the first thing I did when he left was sat down and had a good long cry. Then I picked myself up and called my best friend since third grade, Brian Littrell. Brrrring Brrrrring Brrrrrring, "Hello?"

"Hi Brian."

"Hey what’s up?" he said. And then I started crying. I told him the entire story of how when I was in Myrtle Beach, Howie had an affair. Then 3 months later, the girl came back and he had yet another affair. Then I told him how he had come clean and told me everything. I told him that we had broken up.

"Oh my god, I can't believe that he did that to you."

"Brian do you think you could come over?"

"Sure, hey do you want me to call Kev, AJ, and Nick?"

"Yeah I sure could use a few friends right now."

"I'll be over in half an hour."

"Bye Bri"

"Bye Liz."

~ 45 Minutes Later ~

 "I can't believe that jerk" Nick said.

"I know, what an ass" AJ said.

"Hey he was never good for you" Kevin said.

"Oh gee thanks Kevin that makes me feel a whole lot better" I replied sarcastically. I immediately took it back. "Sorry Kev."

"Thats fine. Hey I'm really sorry Liz but I got to go, I gotta go to work tomorrow."

"Yeah me too" Nick said.

"I think you need some time alone babe, so I'm gonna head on out," AJ said.

"Thanks guys you really are the best friends anyone could ask for" I said. "Bye you guys!"

"Bye, see ya later, bye." They all left, well, except for Brian.
