» CHAPTER SIX «

Lauren got out of the sauna, feeling like a prune. "I’m gonna go now you guys," she said to everyone in the pool.

"Bye!" they all shouted.

"Wait up," Nick said, "I’ll walk you to your car."

"K." So Lauren and Nick started walking.

"You know, I’m really glad you came tonight. It made my night," he said.

Lauren smiled. "I had fun too."

Nick looked looked down at his feet, then mustered up the courage he needed to say something. "Lauren, will you go out with me tomorrow night?" he asked.

Lauren looked down at her feet, then looked up at Nick and smiled. This is what she wanted! "Uhhhhh....sure, of course. Just call me with the details," she said as she reached her car.

"O.K., see you tomorrow then!" Nick grinned.

"Bye," Lauren said. She opened the door to get in, but Nick held her back and kissed her.

"Now it’s goodbye," he smiled sexily. Lauren was about to melt, but managed to get in her car and start driving away. She turned on the radio, and it was "All I have to give."

Lauren decided to crank it up and sing along. It had been a great day, after all.

Nick watched Lauren drive away. He couldn’t stand to watch her go, but knew he’d be seeing her the next day. He couldn’t believe how much he already liked her after one day. It was like, a story in a book or something.

His mind wondered to AJ and Jessica. He had seen them go up to the hotel room. AJ’d probably already humped her brains out. AJ had a thing for doing that. Nick, however, had only been with two girls before. And he was hoping that the next and last one would be Lauren.

"Don’t count on it," he told himself. "Lauren is virgin territory. You’ll have to win her heart first." Which is what I planned on doing anyway, he thought.

AJ was watching Jessica, who was sound asleep in his arms. She looked so peaceful. She had a smile on her face, which made him wonder her thoughts and dreams. He himself smiled after thinking of what they had done that night. They’d both loved every minute of it. It was fairly mild, compared to other nights AJ had gone through. But she hadn’t seen anything yet. As long as Jessica was AJ’s, she’d get all he had to give.

Jessica was having a great dream about her and AJ. About that night, and the future of them both. It was a wonderful dream, until it turned nightmarish.

AJ died, and left Jessica with 3 kids and one on the way. She had no one to turn to and nowhere to go. She started to cry it was so horrible.

AJ saw her crying and woke her up. "Jessica, Jessi, what’s wrong baby? Are you having a bad dream?" he asked worriedly. Jessica woke up and saw AJ, and hugged him as tight as she could.

"AJ! I thought’d I’d lost you and I was so scared and I-"

"Shhhhhh," she was interrupted by AJ’s comforting embrace. "It’s O.K. now baby, nothing’s going to happen to me, as long as you’re in my bed."

Jessica smiled. "Hey...." she got a wicked look on her face, "Since we’re both awake now...how about you make my fears go away? You up to it?"

AJ looked under the covers at himself. "I’m always up to it," he grinned. And with that, he rolled her over and made passionate love to her.

The next morning, Lauren woke up after she’d had a great dream about Nick. They’d gone out on a great date, he’d taken her for a moonlit stroll on the beach, and made passionate love to her right there on the sand. Soon after she awoke.

"What a great dream," she thought. What a great night, she recalled. She might not have been waking up next to Nick, but it was still a fun pool party. She knew how to party. Lauren smiled when she remembered taking Nick’s swimming trunks. He was so mad in a flirtatious way. She loved the helpless/pissed look on his face. She didn’t exactly mind the view either.

Lauren stretched and yawned, still in her bed, thinking about Nick’s gorgeous eyes and smiling face.

"Life....is.....good," she murmured.

Nick woke up the next morning with a smile on his gorgeous face. He’d had a great dream about Lauren. They’d been walking under the moonlight on a beach, then making love in the soft sand. Nick knew he was getting a little ahead of himself, but it was a dream that he didn’t have control over. "But hey, my subconscious must’ve been telling me something. I can’t wait for that date tonight," he murmured to himself.

Nick closed his eyes again. He could still feel delicate Lauren in his arms, them making out madly with each other. He could still feel her hands massaging his aching shoulders. Her touch was the touch of an angel. Nick didn’t know her but, he really wanted to know her. More than anything.

He sighed. "If only I can wait that long," he murmured. "Maybe I can. I have to."

Jessica awoke later in AJ’s arms. "What an incredible night," she thought.

She looked over at AJ. He was still asleep, his head on her shoulder. Jessica smiled. AJ was the most handsome, romantic, and wildest guy she’d ever met. He was very talented and funny. In her eyes, he was a dream come true.

Jessica ran her hands down his toned body, just because she could. She hoped that AJ would be hers forever. She would make him hers.
