» CHAPTER THREE «
Robyn bumped into her friends Nicole and Jessie in the student cafeteria of the college campus. "What's wrong with you?" Jessie asked curiously.
"My roommate that's what's wrong with me," Robyn snapped.
"I see you do not get along with Ryan," Nicole smiled.
"Actually his name is Brian. I must have misheard him when we first met or something," Robyn stated taking a sip of her soda.
"That's funny because my boyfriend's cousin is named Brian and he had to move because his roommate's girlfriend moved in and they kicked poor Brian out," Jessie thought.
"Yeah, that's the same Brian that you set me up with," Nicole said.
"Whoa, whoa, whoa!" Robyn exclaimed. "Nick, is he a tall blonde boy?" Jessie and Nicole nodded their heads. "Are we talking about the same Brian here, Brian Little?" Robyn asked not believing her ears.
"It’s Brian Littrell, not Little," Nicole corrected.
"It should be little considering his height," Robyn said. Jessie and Nicole laughed.
"What do you mean you two do not get along?" Jessie asked.
"Brian is a real nice guy. Its not hard to get along with him," Nicole added.
"If that was the case how come you two broke up?" Robyn asked getting up and leaving the table.
Nicole looked at Jessie speechless. "What did I say? I just asked her a simple question she did not have to come out like that at all," Nicole asked Jessie.
Jessie shrugged. "Assuming you know Brian really well since you were his girlfriend he probably showed her that annoying, goofy, pesty side of him that is only lovable to some," she said.
"Oh, I have met that side of him. And if that’s the case for Robyn I do not blame her for feeling the way she does but it still gives her no right to snap at me the way she just did," Nicole stated.
"True, but you know how Robyn is, whenever it comes to guys she is very touchy for some reason. I wish she would tell us, or at least me since I am dying to know," Jessie smirked.
"Well if and when you do find out let me know," Nicole told her as she stood up. "I have children development studies class now so I have to go."
"Okay, I'll talk to you later," Jessie said. What a small world, Jessie thought to herself as Nicole left.
* * * * * * *
AJ's phone rang and immediately on the second ring he picked it up. "Hello," he said.
"AJ?" a voice asked.
"Yeah. Tazia?" AJ replied.
"Its me all right," Tazia said.
"You sound sexier than I imagined," AJ said without thinking.
"Thanks, I guess," Tazia laughed.
"I am sorry. I did not mean to come out like that so soon. I just could not help it," AJ apologized.
"Its okay. I know your intentions were good and if they weren't it still sounded good coming from a sexy voice like yours as well," Tazia flirted back.
"I know it did," AJ said.
After talking with each other for almost two hours on the phone AJ asked Tazia when he should be expecting her visit to New York. "Two weeks from today," Tazia advised.
"Ummm, I do not think I can wait that long," AJ said.
"You’re just going to have to ain't you?" Tazia told him.
"I just hope I do not get blue balls between now and then," AJ pervertedly said.
"And if you do happen to get blue balls I would just have to make you feel all better. Remember I am a Med. school student and I need all the practice I can get," Tazia told him.
"Would you wear those cute little nurse outfits for me?" AJ asked.
Tazia pretended to think for a minute. "We could arrange that," she finally said to satisfy AJ.
"I'll be counting the days," AJ told her.
"I know you would. But I have to go now. I'll chat online with you later," Tazia told him.
"Okay," AJ agreed hanging up the phone.
~ Later That Afternoon ~
Jessie caught up with her boyfriend Kevin at the local Starbucks near her college. Kevin gave a her a kiss hello and they sat down. "What's new?" Kevin asked.
"Nothing much," Jessie answered him with a smile.
Kevin smiled back at her. "Why are you smiling then? You know something I do not know right?' he said.
"Yeah, kinda," Jessie confessed.
"See I know my girl," Kevin said.
Jessie shook her head. "You would not believe how small the world is."
"Why is that?" Kevin questioned curious. Jessie told him everything there was to tell him about his cousin (Brian) and Robyn. "Looks like Bri has found his match, uh?' he asked. Jessie nodded her head.
"Maybe he would learn few things from her. Like how to leave women alone when they say so," Kevin smirked. "But enough about my cousin and his roommate full of issues, tonight its going to be you and me for the entire weekend undisturbed and not bothered by anybody," he said.
"I could agree with that," Jessie smirked back. Kevin kissed her passionately and as they pulled away.
