» CHAPTER EIGHTEEN «

~ AJ’s Point Of View ~

 As soon I walked in my mom’s house I could tell she knew that something was up, I never told her what I did.

"Okay Alex what’s wrong?" my mom asked.

"Nothing" I said lamely.

"None of this ‘nothing’ business now what’s wrong" she said again.

Since I couldn’t keep a secret even if my life depended on it I told my mom the whole ugly story and to say the least she wasn’t happy. "How could you be so stupid!" she yelled at me.

"I know mom, if I could take it all back I would but I can’t!" I said and started crying, hard.

~ Denise’s Point Of View ~

 I looked down at Alex and realized that he was crying, a thing he rarely does. So I sat down to comfort him, "Honey it’s okay everyone makes mistakes" I said.

"Yeah but not this one" he said. "Mom I’m going for a walk."

"Okay hon. You can stay here tonight if you want," I said.

"Okay thanks mom," he said and left.
