» CHAPTER ELEVEN «

The day passed with the couples playing together in the lake, or each one splitting up and being alone with their date.

Summer and AJ mainly sat on the raft, looking into each other's eyes and sharing kisses. Nick and Skyle stayed in their spot underneath the trees. Sky was in heaven, she was with Nick, almost totally alone. Brian and Brianna had taken a walk around the small island they were on, and Ally and Kevin sat on the boat and talked.

"Summer, baby?" AJ asked as they lay on the raft. The waves motion was causing both of them to become lulled to sleep.

"Mmmmmm?" she groaned. He smiled down at her, looking at her cute face which was very relaxed.

"We need to go, we're packing up the boat", he said.

"OK, but I don't want you to leave me, stay with me", she told him.

"Honey I'm not going anywhere, not now that I have found you. My life practically just started yesterday, because I found you", AJ said as he pushed a strand of hair back from her face, tucking it behind her ear.

"That was beautiful J. Thank you", Summer whispered, putting her hand behind his neck, pulling him down to her. They then kissed their most passion filled embrace yet. It spoke what both of them could not outwardly say. It lasted a few more moments when Summer pulled away breathless. AJ's eyes smiled down, emotion showing.

They swam over to the boat as the other couples also got in. AJ sat down on the floor of the boat, motioning for Summer. She sat down between his legs, leaning her head back on his chest. he leaned over, lightly kissing her temple.

Nick and Sky were perched on the back of the boat, watching the sunset. Nick had both his arms around her, his chin on her shoulder. "I know I can't tell you this enough Sky, but I love you", Nick told her.

Tears welled up in the girl's eyes and she turned around, hugging him. "I love you so much Nick," she told him back, letting him stroke her back as the tears freely fell.

Everyone trudged up the dock after Nick parked the boat. It was dark and a slight breeze was blowing. But the water was calm and soothing. They all said good-byes, and went to their according vehicles. AJ was taking Summer home again, Brianna was going over to Brian's (because they were both wide awake), Kevin and Ally were going out together again tomorrow and were discussing that over at his car, and Skyle and Nick were sitting together in the boat.

Nick began to kiss Skyle's neck, peppering it with his light kisses.

"Baby, no. Not now. I wanna enjoy your company," she said, looking at him and smiling. She brushed a lock of his blonde hair out of his eyes. They sat in silence for about another half hour till Nick heard Sky snoring. He laughed and picked her up, taking her inside and laying her down on his couch.

"Night Sky babe, love you", he whispered, kissing her forehead. He walked upstairs to his room, changing into his pajamas, then crashing into bed. He was immediately asleep, with dreams of Sky.

Summer and AJ were actually able to keep their hands off each other when they left the group and drove to her house. Both of them were beat from the exciting day they'd had. But AJ mustered enough energy to place a hand on Summer's thigh as he drove.
