» CHAPTER ONE «

"Alexis Marie get your butt down here!" AJ yelled from the bottom of the stairs. Alexis sighed running a hand through her jetblack shoulder length hair.

"Coming Alex," she replied hanging up her phone. Her house had been hectic lately since she was leaving to go with her brother on tour. It was the ‘2003 Best Of The Best’ music tour. Said to be the hottest ticket in the U.S, but Alexis wasn’t that happy.

"Finally," AJ exclaimed tossing his backpack on his back. "Ready?"

Alexis nodded silently as she pulled on her leather jacket. They said goodbye to their parents and headed out to the van. As they got closer Alexis’s face dropped and she began to turn back to the house.

"Alexis, get back here." A.J ran after her and pulled her down the driveway back to the van.

"No!" she stated struggling to get free. "Not if Ding Dong is in there! You know how much I hate him J!" she gave her twin brother a pleading look.

"Alexis, come on. I told him to be good. Why do you always turn him down anyway? He’s a nice guy, can you just try and be nice for me?"

She mumbled something under her breath then spoke, knowing she had no choice. "Well, let’s go J! Time to go join the insane boybanders!" she said sarcastically. "I can’t wait to spend six long ,months with Nick! He’s soo much fun!" she rolled her eyes and pulled open the van door. Before she got in she turned back to AJ. "If Jazlyne and Brian weren’t going I wouldn’t be here either. So tell Carter to watch it or he’ll be singing real high from now on." She turned back to the guys and smiled as she got in.

"This is gonna be a long six months," AJ mumbled to himself as he got in and shut the door.

~ In The Van ~

 "Hello my dear Alexis," Nick replied winking at her. Alexis threw him a dirty look and sat down next to Brian. Nick put on a hurt face then smiled.

"Hey hun," Brian said giving Alexis a hug. She smiled and he began to laugh slightly. "See Nick, I told you I can make anyone smile."

Alexis laughed and smiled bigger as she buckled her seatbelt. At least Brian’s here, she thought happily. When she looked over at AJ and he gave her a warning look. She nodded, understanding what he meant and began to talk to Brian. "So, excited about the tour?" he asked popping open a soda.

"Yeah, I guess," she sighed as she stared out the window. She’d only just left, but she already missed home.

"It’ll be alright girlie. You’ll see, roadlife can be fun. You, me, and Jazlyne are gonna have loads of fun, I promise." He gave her a world famous *Brian* smile and she nodded.

They continued to talk the whole drive until they got to Jive. Alexis hopped out of the van, happy to be out in the fresh air. Her and Brian began unloading their things from the van when a black lexus pulled up. Alexis felt better as she saw Jazlyne get out. She was laughing happily as her brother hopped out of the car with an angry look on his face.

"Sorry bro, I didn’t know that telling Carson that you slept with a teddy bear would get all over MTV," she smiled innocently. "It just kinda popped up in conversation."

He looked over at her angrily then smiled as he saw Alexis. "Hey Lexi, what’s up?" he asked stepping over to her. As he gave her a hug he whispered, "Help me get Jaz back." Alexi laughed and shook her head.
