» CHAPTER THREE «

Nick had been going out with Alexis and Jazlyne’s best friend, Raquel. She was a pretty girl, about 5’10 with long blond hair and stunning blue eyes. She was sweet too and extremely dedicated to Nick, never leaving his side for one minute. This wasn't good enough for Nick though. One day while Raquel and the other two were at the mall Nick decided to have a little fun. Jazlyne and Alexis figured he had been cheating, but never told Raquel. They knew how much she loved him and knew it would kill her; he was her world.

When the three arrived home from the mall they heard noises coming from the bedroom. Raquel stormed down the hall to find him with her younger sister who had just turned eighteen. To say she was upset, was to say the least. She was full of rage and hurt as she began to yell at the two. Nick tried to say it wasn't what it looked like, but she knew better. Alexis and Jazlyne stepped up and began to help their distressed friend out. Soon Nick began to turn the tables saying it was Raquel’s fault that he cheated stating that she *didn’t give him what he needed.* It almost worked on her. Then Alexis became enraged and ordered Nick out of the house.

Raquel left the tour and went through a great depression. This lasted a full year. Tear filled phone calls and letters were exchanged between her and Jazie and Alexis. They didn't think she'd stop on her own so they left the tour also. They went and stayed with her for two months. Like any good friend would, they picked her up and showed her how worthwhile she was. She was brought out of her sadness by Alexis and Jazlyne.

Alexis smiled as she remembered how happy Raquel was now. Even though Raquel was over it Alexis was not. It hurt her how he had treated her best friend and how now he was trying to slither over to her. It would never happen though, she wouldn't let it.

"Hey Lexi?" Brian said breaking her thoughts. She shook her head and wiped her eyes a little.

"Yeah?"

"We’re at the hotel. Come on, let’s get inside with the others."

She smiled as he helped her up. As they got out of the bus she thanked God no one knew they were staying here or it would've been packed outside with fans. A cool breeze hit her face as she entered the hotel lobby. It was a very exquisite place with five floors and five hundred rooms in all. Alexis dragged a neatly manicured hand across the marble counter top. A matrade popped up and asked who she was registered under.

"I believe it's under Sanders and Robinson," she said plastering on a fake smile.

He nodded and began to type away at the computer in front of him. "Ah yes, four rooms on the second floor. Here are your keys Miss. Now if you would please sign right here." Alexis took the pen and signed the book quickly. She grabbed the keys and turned back to the group.

"Now I'm gonna make the room arrangements and Alex do not even try to argue." All the guys laughed as AJ grimaced. He hated it when she called him Alex.

"It’s gonna be like this J and Usher in room 236, Brian and Nick in room 238, Kevin and Howie in room 239, and Jazlyne and me in room 237." She handed each person their set of keys then clapped her hands. "Now let’s get to our rooms people so we can get some rest!" Everyone laughed and headed up the stairs.

"So girl, whatcha wanna do tonight?" Jazlyne asked putting her things in a drawer of one of the dressers.

"Hmm, what do you wanna do Jazie?" Alexis smiled knowingly. Then she began to grin enthusiastically.
