» CHAPTER NINE: THE GUYS «

Even though Golden wouldn't be joining them for about a week and a half, the boys had to continue on with their tour. So two days after they meet with Golden, the boys were packing to leave.

"So, Howie..." AJ started. They were sitting in the 2 bedroom suite they shared watching TV while taking a break from packing.

"Yeah, AJ," Howie prompted.

"You and Gwen have been getting pretty, shall we say, close lately."

"Yeah, we are," Howie replied.

"Don't try and down play!"

"Huh? What are you sayin' man?!"

"Monica called you daddy, Howie! You're not her dad, in fact we don't even know her dad," AJ said.

"Jeez, AJ. Calm down," Howie said. "It's not like I'm just playing with her. I love her."

"Love her!? You've only known her for a little over a week!" AJ said.

"But I feel like I've know her forever," Howie explained. "What about you and Kayla?"

"I don't know. I really like her" AJ replied.

"But you've only known her for a little over a week!" Howie teased him.

"Do NOT mock me," AJ replied. "I hafta go finish packing."

"Hey guys!" Brian said, walking into the room.

"What?" Howie asked.

"Can't a guy come see his buds? Just for a little visit?" Nick asked.

"Not you guys," AJ answered.

"Yeah, you only come around when you want something," Howie added.

"Well, I'm hungry," Nick said.

"Congratulations!" Kevin said, joining their conversation.

"Let me guess!" AJ said. "You guys want to order some food?"

"But you spent all your money on stupid stuff," Howie finished.

"Well, yeah, kinda," Brian said.

"Only if you want to call Tory and Crystal stupid," Kevin added.

"Shut up!" Nick said, blushing.

"Aw, Nick, you're getting all red," AJ teased.

"Alright, alright! I'll admit it! I like Crystal, a lot. So, are we eating or what?" Nick changed the subject.

"Only if someone else pays," Brian said.

"Fine, I'll get some pizza," Kevin said, shaking his head.

"Hey, guys, I was wondering if I could bring someone on tour with us? When we come back to get Golden?" AJ asked.

"Sure, who?" Brian asked.

"Kayla."

"Alright. But only if Kate can come along to," Kevin said.

"OOOOH, Kevin's got a crush," Nick teased.

"Yeah, I do. We went to dinner once, and I had a lot of fun. I like her!" Kevin defended himself.

"Well, nothin' beats what Howie told me earlier. About Gwen" AJ said.

"Yeah, man. I probably would have freaked if Monica called me Daddy," Nick said.

"Well? Tell 'em D" AJ urged.

"I love her," Howie said.

"Who? Monica? Yeah, she's adorable," Brian said.

"No, Gwen. I love Gwen."

"You barely know her.." Kevin started.

"Give it up, Kev. I already tried that," AJ butted in.

"Pizzas here," Nick interrupted.

So, they all ate then went on their own ways. They all had packing to do, and last minute plans to make. After all, they only had 1 day left there.
