» CHAPTER TEN «

On Thanksgiving Day, the guys go visit Kelly. Jenny is already there, talking about general things, when the guys walk in.

"Hey, girls. How are you doing, Kelly?" Kevin asks.

"Fine, I'll be able to leave tomorrow. I'm sorry we can't have Thanksgiving together. I'm sure it would have been fun." Kelly states.

"It's all right, it's only a holiday. At least, you'll be there for Christmas. That's the best holiday, there is." AJ says, smiling.

Kelly smiles, and the guys all stayed for a few minutes, before visiting hours were over. Jenny goes back to the bus with the guys. They all go back to the hotel, and to their rooms. There were only five rooms left, four single beds, and one double bed rooms, so two of them would have to sleep in the same room. Jenny agrees to take one room with one of the guys, since
there were two beds. The guys talk about who would sleep with her. Howie volunteers, and the guys smile. They book the one double bed room, and four single bed rooms. They all go to the rooms and relax, before dinner. They all decide to go out for Thanksgiving dinner. They go to a fancy restaurant, and they decide to give thanks. They all hold hands, around the table.

Brian goes first. "I would like to give thanks for my family, friends, the fans, and God, for giving me the ability to survive a terrible ordeal."

Kevin is next, "I would like to give thanks for my family, friends, the fans, the group, and God, for the ability to handle tough situations."

AJ starts his, "I would like to give thanks for my family, friends, the fans, the group, and the beautiful ladies around the world."

The guys chuckle at this.

Nick sighs, and begins, "I would like to give thanks for my family, friends, the fans, the group, and God, for giving me my humor and insanity." he laughs.

Howie smiles, "I would like to give thanks for my family, friends, the fans, the group, and God, for giving me a great girl."

He smiles at Jenny, and the guys simultaneously said, "awwwww" and laugh.

Jenny finishes the round, "Well, I would like to give thanks for my sister, who is so lucky to be alive right now, a great group of friends, the fans who tolerated me, and a great guy. I would also like to thank God, and to bless my parents, and all of the other good souls, who couldn't be with us today." She smiles.

The guys smile and they had dinner. After dinner, they went back to the hotel to sleep and relax. Jenny and Howie walks into their room, and they get ready for bed. Jenny changes in the bathroom. Howie changes and gets in bed, right when Jenny walks out. He smiles and motions for her to crawl into bed with him. There were two beds in the room, but Jenny decides to sleep in the same bed, anyways. She crawls in the bed, and he kisses her passionately. Jenny passionately kisses back. They made love.

A few weeks later, it's Christmas. The guys were going to go home on the holidays, but this year, they decided to spend it with the group. They will go home on New Year's Eve. Jenny and Kelly will go home, to Kenosha on New Year's Eve, and spend it with friends. The girls have been with the group now, for seven months. Jenny is a huge hit with the band, and Kelly is having a blast with Denise as her tutor. The guys are out shopping for Christmas, and the girls are back at the hotel, wrapping gifts. The girls finished early, and decided to rehearse in their rooms, for the last concert of the year. Kelly is rehearsing her dance steps, while in the other room, Jenny is going through sign language books and studying the words that she doesn't know, for some of the songs.

Kelly is rehearsing some dance steps. The guys come back from shopping, and they begin wrapping their presents.

It's the last concert before the holidays, and the group is getting ready to perform. Jenny is rehearsing signs, while the others are rehearsing the songs.

"I Want it That Way...." the guys sing, Kelly listens intently. She is having a blast! She sings along to herself. The concert is about to start. Jenny is getting ready for the announcement, that happens before every concert, introducing her, and is getting nervous. It's not as bad as the first concert, but she still gets a little nervous.

The announcer begins, " And now...before the guys come out, lets give a big welcome for our signing interpreter for the group...Jennifer!!" She runs out, and waves to the crowd.

She starts to sign as well as speak... "Hello!! It's great to be here!!" and she stands to the side of the stage, and gets ready for the guys to come out.

She starts to sign the introductions and then the songs start. She does a great job, and is happy that the concert is a success. After the concert, she goes with the guys to do autographs and pictures too.  Since she's been on the stage, a lot of people ask to see her too. It's like she's part of the group. A lot of people ask if she's deaf, but the answer is always "No." She even had a press conference with the guys, and announced it to everyone on the air, that she could hear, and is not deaf. People don't ask very much, anymore.
