I ran up the driveway of Nick's house and the car was there, so AJ had to be there, too. I walked in the house. "Hello?" I called. There was no answer. I walked upstairs. I looked in Nick's bedroom, it was completely trashed! AJ was sitting on the bed reading a magazine. I walked in; "I wanna help you." I said. AJ, startled, got up and stood in front of me. "You?" He sounded surprised. "Yeah," I answered. "Is this a trick? Are you wired or something?" He narrowed his eyes at me. "No! I'm just mad at Nick so I wanna help you!" AJ sat down on the bed and said, "Alright." I smiled and stood there for a couple of minutes. ~ Brian, Nick and Christine were all in Brian's car. Brian and Nick were in the front. Christine was talking really fast, like usual. "…So I said 'no way' and she said 'yes way!' Then she started talking about how cute Nick was, and then I told her that you already had a girlfriend. And she was so disappointed, she said she would do anything to win you away from Sarah. Then I said 'no way', and she said 'totally!' So I guess you're pretty popular, Nick, but of course you are, you're one of the hottest guys in school! AJ was but then he had to go all psycho- ballistic on me and start killing people. But hey, that's how life goes, doesn't it? …I mean that's not how life goes but you know…" Nick, who was freaking out, interrupted Christine. "Would you just shut up?! My god! Don't you ever breathe when you speak?!" Nick put his hand to his forehead. "I've got a headache." ~ "This is boring," I said. "I'm outta here." I left. AJ didn't seem to pay any attention to me. I went downstairs, and looked around. "This place is a mess." I picked up the pizza box from earlier. Turning to the window, I saw Nick, Christine and Brian walking up the driveway from Brian's jeep. Christine walked in, "Hi." I gave her a half smile as I brought the pizza box into the kitchen. Nick ran in, "Where is she?" He asked Christine. She pointed to the kitchen. Nick walked into the kitchen. "Hey," he said. I didn't answer him. "I'm sorry," he said, looking down at the floor. I walked past him like he wasn't even there. "C'mon Sarah," He followed me out of the kitchen. "I said I was sorry! That doesn't mean you have to help AJ." He stopped and stood there for a second. "I bet you don't even know what tomorrow is." I said quietly. "Yeah! I do!" He answered. "It's your birthday." He smiled, proudly. I looked at him. "Tomorrow's our anniversary." I told him. "I knew that," He said. "I was just seeing if you remembered." I pushed past him again. AJ walked down the stairs, "Well, isn't this quite a reunion!" He smiled, laughing evilly. Everyone just stood there, not really paying attention to him. "Hey! I'm talkin! Pay attention! I'll kill ya!" He laughed evilly again. Brian turned to AJ and said, "Ya know, that's getting real annoying!" AJ stood there for about five minutes and then said, "This is boring, I'm outta here!" Then a hole in the wall opened up and AJ stepped in. Kevin stepped out. He smiled at all of us. I came out of the kitchen and started sweeping up all of the pieces of wood from the door that AJ had destroyed. "Why are you such a neat freak?!" Nick asked me. "Gee Nick, I don't know. It's probably just something that your girlfriend has to be. Since you're so messy!" I said. "I didn't make that mess!" I looked at him, "Well, then why don't you just have AJ come out of the wall and clean it up himself!" I threw the dustpan and the broom down, and stormed out the door. "That went well…" Brian said. Nick ran up to his room and slammed the door. Kevin, Brian, and Christine stood there, not knowing what to do. "Well," Christine said. "Maybe you guys should talk to Nick, and I'll talk to Sarah." She suggested.
