I met Nick in front of the arcade that was at the mall. "You wanted to apologize?" He said, folding his arms. "Me?!" I said, surprised. Nick and I started arguing. "Sometimes I wish AJ had killed you!" He finished. He turned his back to me. "You do?" I asked, quietly. He didn't answer me. "Fine!" I walked away. Christine met me outside of the mall. "So… what happened?" She asked. "Details! I need details!" She followed me. "You wanna know what happened?!" I yelled, facing her. "He expected me to apologize! Then he said that he wished AJ had killed me!" I started walking again. "I'm not speaking to him." "Oh c'mon Sarah, it can't be that bad." Christine said, getting into the car. "Why did you break up with AJ?" I asked, closing the driver side door after I got in. "I don't know… he was being too protective of me." She replied. I started the car and drove back to Christine's house. ~ Christine and I were sitting up in her room later that night, watching television. It was an old video that we had taped. It was Brian, Kevin, Nick, Christine, AJ and Howie on it. I was the one taping it. I was half-asleep when all of a sudden; her television set blew up! We both screamed. Christine, shakily, picked up the phone and called Brian. When she hung up, she said, "They'll be over soon…" "They? Meaning who?" I said. "Well… Brian, Nick and Kevin were kinda like… havin' a little sleepover… thing." She admitted. "So… Nick is coming over too?!" I asked, angrily. She didn't answer me because the doorbell rang. We both walked downstairs, to answer the door. Brian walked in with a pizza. Nick, who was following Brian, said "delivery" in a really nerdy voice. I rolled my eyes. Kevin closed the door after he walked in, and we all went up to Christine's room. When we walked in her room, Brian said, "Whoa Christine, your room is a pig sty!" He laughed. Kevin turned to Brian, "Calm down man, it's almost midnight. You're usually sleepin right now." He said. Nick interrupted them and said, almost laughing. "Nah man. That's you, you'd be snorin' right now." I rolled my eyes again. "Would you stop?!" Nick yelled. "I saw that, both times!" Then we heard a crash downstairs. We all stood there very silently. Kevin walked over and quietly shut the bedroom door. When it was shut, Christine said, "what was that?!" We were all sitting over in the farthest corner from the door. About five minutes later, I stood up and said, "I don't know what it is, but I'm going to find out." As I walked over to the door, I grabbed a baseball bat that was in the corner. I reached for the doorknob. "Wait!" I turned around, and Brian was standing up. "What?" I asked. "Well… you can't go alone!" He looked down at Nick and grabbed his shoulders, forcing Nick to his feet. "Nick'll go with you." "I… I will?" Nick asked, nervously. "Yeah," Brian finished, giving Nick a pat on the back and shoving him towards me. "Well?! Let's go!" I said, impatiently.
