To the immortal spirit of Andy Gibb.
Eternal Flame
by Robin Hazel
Every candle burns out it's wick yet there is one eternal flame.
Yes, one eternal fire that burns, Andy be thy name.
His song haunts our souls with an everlasting power.
His ghostly melody could make the toughest cry.
And so he may have perished in body, but he will never die.
His voice, his love, his talent can sear through the strongest of things,
And all I see and feel and hear is what our Andy sings.
This eternal flame burns on, brightly thru' the night,
The fire that is our Andy bird leads us on to the morning light.
His flame helps me through my darkest fears, out of my chamber of pain,
Out of the fog of confusion, that would otherwise drive me insane.
Yes, shoves us away from the arrow of pain that would otherwise peirce my heart,
So that I fall into a pool of understanding, and all my hurt can more quickley depart.
This is what this bird can do, only by singing his song,
And he helps me live my day, he is what helps me be emotionally strong.
Thank you, Andy, for all you and your brothers have given me.
This eternal flame burns in memory of Andrew "Andy" Roy Gibb
