What are the advantages of 100% digitally created illustrations, compared with traditional hand drawn or hand 'touched up' illustrations?

5). Digital illustrations are instantly ready for use on the internet, unlike traditional hand rendered or touched up illustrations which need to be scanned in and then manually converted to digital format (resulting in loss of quality - ugh!).

6). Digital illustrations have a cleaner, crisper finish than traditional hand rendered or touched up illustrations.

What is the first step?
First we need to discuss the scope of the project. The level of detail, size of display and time schedule are key points. A proposal of services is then prepared for client approval.

What information does the client need to provide?
Because this is a three dimensional service, the minimum requirement is plans and elevations, ideally in computer form (.dwg or .dxf). Section drawings are helpful. Your plans and elevations should be clearly marked showing desired view angles, colours and materials.

You can provide photographs of the existing site for more photo-realistic results, or I can photograph the site on your behalf.

High quality and precise information from the client = high quality end results and a very happy client.
High efficiency of information from the client = earlier project completion time.

The process and time scheduling.
Once the proposal is approved by the client and all possible project information has been received by Sunshine 3D, an accurate time schedule is developed, and work can commence:

• A 3d model is created and preliminary renderings are created and sent to the client for review and approval.
  
• Final views are set, lighting and materials are applied to the model.
  
• A detailed rendering is produced for a second and final client review. This can be done in person or via email.
  
• Final changes are completed and the final rendering is produced, ready for delivery to the client.
  
  

How does Sunshine 3D work with companies from outside Australia?
With email and telephone, it is possible to communicate instantly and stay in touch with the progress of the rendering. Previews of illustrations are made available for client review via email.

In what form will the final product be delivered?
The final product will be delivered to the client on CD rom, which is included in the agreed price. Prints on photographic paper, high resolution paper and plain paper in any size are also available at a small additional cost.
