This picture shows a detail in the Grande Apartments in Versailles, home to many French kings. The top is a painted roof, the bottom is marble walls.

This picture was taken in a little French town of Monpazier. I didn't take many photos with me in them. The guy is Dave, he's great!

The Bussaco forest in Portugal was created by monks between 700-1100. We spent an afternoon exploring and hiking in it. This is Rob!

Outside Lisbon, in Sintra, you can find a Castle of the Moors, an old strategic structure that is astoundingly beautiful. I took a roll of film here alone!

Sagres, Portugal, is the westerly tip of Europe, the last view of Europe unlucky sailors and explorers would ever see again. We spent an afternoon sitting on a placid beach with crashing waves.

This is an example of the architecture that you will find throughout Spain. This is the cathedral in Salamanca, Spain.

Sevilla, Spain, has the largest cathedral in Spain at least. It is enough to make you sick. We climbed the bell-tower and this photo is looking down on one section of it.

We took a night out in Granada to see some flamenco-dancing gypsies. This woman is the grandmother of some other dancers. You can tell by the lines of her skirt that she is really moving. The beautiful legs are Renata's, and beside her is Dale.

the Alhambra: One of the wonders of the world. This Moorish palace stronghold is so elaborately decorated, every inch carved meticulously. I didn't take this photo, it's from a postcard. Shh.

This is a neighbourhood of Granada, taken from the Alhambra.
