Profile:

Tommy is not a regular Super 4s cricketer, but should definitely be considered amongst the elite players. His competitiveness, strong teamplay and all-round talent complement his fitness, sporty physique and Nike caps. Recognised more as a bowler, Tommy's excellent wicket average is testimony to his sizzling deliveries, despite an economy rate of over five runs per over. This could be explained by his unquestionable wicket-taking ability against lower order batsmen combined with the occasional smashing that top class sloggers seem to be able to deal out. Although an enthusiastic and capable cricketer, some of Tommy's defensive manuveoures have been criticised as unsportsmanlike. Yet Tom's defiant stanze at the crease has yielded some valuable runs. When fully fit, Tommy is an excellent allround fielder.
