Profile:

A cricket fanatic and the leading wicket-taker in Super 4's, Mustafa has the ability to generate effective amounts of turn on even the toughest pitches. His carefully orchestrated offspinners fool most lower order batsmen and Mustafa has recently added much needed variety in the form of topspinners to his bowling, but some have complained of Mustafa's procrastination both when bowling overs and when at the crease. An inherent problem of the premier Super 4s offspinner is his fitness - Mustafa has been known to tire earlier than other players and is sometimes cautiously and subtlely reminded of this fact by other team members, except Teng Tan and Mark Novakovic who are both certainly more direct in their comments. "Muz"'s batting record is creditable, but he is susceptible to resorting to overly offensive stroke play which has been responsible for some low scores. Mustafa does seem to have occasionally atrocious batting days, which have kept down his still respectable batting average. In general though, Mus creates a fine defense at the crease and can be relied on to carve many solid knocks.
