Profile:

Although easily distracted in the field, Teng-Tjun's excellent all-round game makes him one of the elite Super 4s players. Not only one of the most economical and consistent wicket-taking bowlers, Teng's fine strokes can send balls flying past even the best of fielders. His shots often go for boundaries but 'Grease' has often been criticised for a lack of concentration and dedication to the game, and these points have also been cited as reasons for his underachievement on various days. Teng's off-field exploits are so well publicised that virtually all Super 4s players recognise his smooth moves and acknowledge his reputation in other such areas far more than in the cricketing arena - something that Teng is unlikely to either refute or repair. But certainly, when in-form, Tengers is devastating with the bat and has sometimes forced play stoppages in order to collect the excessive number of balls hit out of the ground. His bowling contains well-controlled variety - Teng can produce true pace deliveries but usually reserves them along with his offspinners and the even rarer leg break, using them to surprise a batsman after bowling successive normal medium fast balls. Teng has been known to field poorly when stopping boundaries in the outfield and when required to make short range run-outs, especially when playing as the 'double-fielder' in the opposing team, but, strangely, he is one of the most athletic and gifted reflex catchers in Super 4s.
