WHO'S SUPERCHUM? WHO ARE THE MIGHTY BEFRIENDERS?
The Mighty Befrienders are an organization formed by Superchum (a.k.a. Shmitty Atkinson), a former social worker. Shmitty felt that he needed to do something special when his super powers manifested themselves. And that something special was The Mighty Befrienders ... The group's purpose is to make friends with the entire world, one person at a time.They strive to be a beacon of hope to those without hope. They look to bring a firm, warm handshake to a cold, hard world that's in dire need of a good friend.
Their membership also includes the two other founding members Friend and Girlfriend., Superchum's sidekicks. Also in the group are Buddy and PenPal, who joined shortly after the group was formed.
Much later, Heidi Hogan Lady Lumberjack became an active member of the core group. But as would be expected with a group bent on world friendship, their "membership" is always growing with each new "friend" that is made.
