During the infamous "Teddy Wars" (a conflict between the Teddy Bears & Sock Monkeys Vs. the Teddy Dogs,) Gunter and Bruno were the brave squad leaders of the teams "Gunter Squad" and "Bruno Backups". Gunter recieved every medal in existance (and some new ones) for leading Gunter Squad to victory in the "Battle of Fog Valley". Whereas Bruno, on the other hand, was dishonorably discharged for failing to backup Gunter Squad when backup was needed. Here Gunter and Bruno are sitting in "Fort Good Luck" after the first victory on Dog Beach, which was codenamed "Dog Beetch".
