Irresistible
2x13

"I do believe that would be SIMPLY Irresistible, thank you very much."

I'm eating Ramen noodles and drinking my traditional Cherry Coke. Let's see if this was perhaps a bad choice...well, maybe eating in general was a bad choice.

Ahh...yes, bad choice.

Oh my goodness! I forgot about Mulder having tickets to the Vikings' game! Oh, man! I love the Vikings! They're my favorite team! And they show Cris Carter scoring a touchdown! He's my favorite player! And not just because of his similar name to Chris Carter. He's just great. I also like Dante Culpepper! Meanwhile, my soup is getting cold.

Maybe it's just me, but I never pictured Minnesota as much of a place for prostitution. Maybe it's just my inclination because I love Minnesota and I've watched Fargo one too many times ["The little guy was funny looking." "Can you be more descriptive?" "No. He was just funny looking."]. Yes, I realize Fargo is technically in North Dakota.

You know, the actor who played Donnie Pfaster was in Con Air [a JOHN CUSACK movie!] and the entire time I was just like "Ahh...when's he going to kill some lady and cut her fingers off?" I bet if I ever saw him in real life, I would run away. I'd feel guilty afterward, because the guy is just doing his job, but he was just too psycho for Victoria.

I like the scene when Scully goes to the counselor. See, that was back in the day. The good ol' days. *sigh* Now [meaning post-season 8 apocalypse], she's all weepy and emotional.

Okay, does anyone else have a problem with the fact that if the FBI gets a call from anyone claiming to be an agent, they would just give out information without asking for credentials? That's just like "Ok, I know that FBI has made some errors in the past, but they certainly wouldn't do THAT!"

Another question, why didn't Scully kick Donne when he untied her feet. I mean, I know he has a knife, but he seemed to put it down and be off guard. We all know Scully has had self-defense training [Speaking of self-defense, I got a call at Taekwondo the other night from a guy asking if you learned anything about self-defense in martial arts... No. Not one bit. We just show up and work out so if a punching bag ever attacks us, we'll all be ready.]

Anyway, I do like this episode, even if I can't watch it at night or anywhere besides the safety of my locked home with other people in the house.
