• Slaves are pulled out to platform.
• Overseer tells slaves' age and what they can do.
• Men were called bucks.
• Women were called Wenches.
• Platform is alled the block.
• Overseer tells slave to show bidders how they walk.
• Slave walks across "block".
• Bidding Starts.
• Overseer makes slave hop, trot, and jump to show bidders how useful the slave may be.
• Bidders bid on how well slave is built, and his/her size.
