Locked away, forgotten soul, left alone, no one to hold. Words that hurt, weapons cause fear, build great walls, and lots of tears. Deep inside, never to be heard, are emotions and feelings, but not one word. Unable to speak, yet able to smile, wearing a mask all the while. Holding the heart, keeping it safe, from the world above, and it's wicked fate. Pain and fear builds the wall, surround the soul, so it does not fall. |
