Unless a soundboard for the Black Celebration Tour surfaces, this particular concert will remain exceptional. Though the concert sounds like there is too much bass, the deep–almost industrial (in its literal terminology)–sound only serves to accentuate the concert as indeed being a concert from the Black Celebration tour. Dave’s level of excitement is more than notable in “Black Celebration,” “Fly on The Windscreen” and “Just Can’t Get Enough.” Just count the number of times Dave yells out “whoo,” a very loud “yeah,” “come on,” and the ever popular “yeah-ah-yeah,” and determine for yourself Dave’s excitement as well as that of the crowd. Of note, during “Blasphemous Rumours,” you can actually hear the chimes which “101” obscures.
