From what I have read, Walking In My Boots is from a third generation tape. Nevertheless, this is a damn good representation of Depeche Mode at there best: Martin stands peerless performing “Condemnation”—not even Dave can top Martin’s performance. Dave, likewise, also shows why he is the stuff: his vocals are clear, concise, and he doesn’t even murmur as found in so many other bootlegs; when Dave says “it’s not a fucking movie, come on,” you understand him the first time around. This CD is a definite must in any collection. I waited some ten months to lay my grubby hands on this CD and it was worth every month, every week, everyday, every minute, and every second spent lusting over how many times I would play this CD.
