Drink is the course of the land. It makes you fight with your neighbor. It makes you shoot at your landlord--and it makes you miss him.

Ireland was pretty much what I expected. A big soccer field with livestock scattered thrughout. But I wasn't prepared for its incredible beauty. The grass comes in a hundred shades of green and grows on the very sand to meet the sea and the sky with its out of this world cloud formations. You might find a cottage you will want to stay in forever as easily as a lake surrounded by hills that will make you weep. This is my idea of heaven.

Antes de ir a Irlanda me imajine un gran campo de futbol con vacas y obejas. Pero no estaba preparado para tanta belleza. El gras tiene cien diferentes tonos de verde y crece hasta la misma orilla del mar donde se junta con un cielo de nubes bellas y amenazantes. Si vas, pueda que encuentres una cabagna donde quieras vivir el resto de tus dias, tan facilmente como un lago rodeado de montes que te haran llorar. Esta es la imagen de lo que el cielo debe ser.

If ever you visit Ireland, always keep in mind its history. The Irish people have survived raids and conquests by everyone and their mother, along with famine and political unrest. Thank God for nature and Guinness.

Si alguna vez vas a Irlanda, siempre ten presente su historia. La gente Irlandesa ha sido saqueada y conquistada for Celtas, Vikingos, Ingleses, y ultimamente su cultura decae por el flujo de informacion y entretenimiento proveniente de America. Gracias a Dios que todavia tienen cerveza Guinness.
