The Original Outcast

Cudget was born to a human mother, but his father was a ranger of wood-elf heritage. When Cudget was very young, he was cast out of his home, unaccepted by the human community of Freeport. No one wanted to have anything to do with the young half-elf.
Cudget was taken in by the traders and thieves of Freeport. He found shelter in the secret caverns under the city. It was there that he was taught how to survive. He learned whatever people were willing to teach him, how to travel through the shadows undetected, how to steal straight from person's pocket without their noticing, how to throw knives with a deadly accuracy, and where to place a knife in a persons back in order to finish them off as quickly as possible (after all, the shorter they live, the safer you are).
At night he would travel out of the city to practice his combat skills and collect items used by the traders to weigh down their cargo, making it seem heavier than it really was. It was from these people that he learned how to deceive people for his own gain.
Cudget is a silent and distant stranger who is very devoted to those he holds dear. He has devoted himself to helping other outcasts in their adventures all across the lands of Norrath.
