Well..... it was a sad day. 11/6/4. It was in the first semester of eleventh grade that they decided to have their last show. It was just like in the old days of THE KELSEY CLUB when my mom would drop me off by myself because I had no one to go with. So she dropped me off and there was Caitlin. Julie and a bunch of other girls were with her and she introduced me to them. They took me into the girl's bathroom for the first time. I had never been in there before. I was kind of paranoid being in the girl's bathroom and all. So there was kind of a lot of people there at the moment, but not really. Then I run into Alex and Haily, people that claim to have seen me a million times at THE KELSEY CLUB that I met at the CULTURE ROOM. I'm just anxious the whole time waiting for Dana to get there. So, then Fifth Gear gets on and they really sucked. OH MY GOSH THEY FUCKING SUCK! So after that I went back to Caitlin, and she took me in the girl's bathroom again. Then HEADCASE got on. I thought was cool that two of the bands (HEADCASE & one:) I saw the first time I went there were also two of the ones I would see the last  time I went there. It appears HEADCASE has lost one of their guitarists. Doc has gotten skinnier and smaller. He looked like such a fuckin weirdo on stage all dancing creepy and stuff. During their next to last song his mike shut down and they had to play the song with no vocals. After they were done I turned around and there was Jamie so she hopped on started to ride me. So I hung out with her and her boyfriend for a long time. The place was packed out of its ass now. Then FAIL SAFE got on. This was the first time they played with their new name, indium. That's right, they are now called indium. So me, Jamie, and her boyfriend head up to the front to watch them. I got in front of Jamie and he got behind her and then we started humping her. It was very funny. Then I ran into Brian. The singer of indium started a little Bush bashing so that was funny. So after they were done, we found Caitlin and Caitlin said "Dana's here," and I jumped and said "where," and she was like "there!" I saw her through the people and pushed them out of my way and gave her a gigantic hug and kissed her on the head. Oh God. She was wearing this pretty black soft sweater and this red sleeveless shirt that zips all the way down and these grungy jeans with holes at the knee spots and these adidas shoes. So I hung out with her and Caitlin and Julie for a while. Then Stillkept got on. Holy Shit! They tore it up. I've never seen them play that well. We're talking.... these pits went insane. I didn't wanna go in the pit because my foot was damaged. See a few days ago I was in my room jammin to my Evergreen Terrace C. D. and I stepped on the metal open metal ring of a broken notebook and so it impaled into my foot. However, I went in the pit anyways. Jamie filmed me in it. Holy fucking shit, they played awesome though. I got out of the pit after the first song though cause it started get really rough. We were all singing their songs and shit. Sean and Phil were tellin the audience in between songs that THE KELSEY CLUB is not shutting down, it's just simply moving, and how they can't wait to see us at the next club. They got everyone ranting on saying stuff like, "FUCK LAKE PARK FOR SHUTTING US DOWN!" After that Jamie humped me goodbye and left. After that I found Dana again, and she was so pretty, and then Alexandra pops out of no where and is like, "Hey, I know you!" So I gave her a hug and whispered in her ear, "When I grow up, I wanna marry Dana, and make babies with her." She grabbed my cheek and was like "awww." Then Chelsea got there. So then, I followed Caitlin and Chelsea around. Then they left. Then, I saw Ben touch Dana's boobies and I started crying, and Julie had to hold me. When I stopped, I gave Dana a gigantimo hug. boxelder got on. I've heard a lot about them but I've never heard or seen them until then. They're ok. It was really funny cause, when they played the whole place turned into a night club. I swear, EVERYone was dancing. It looked so funny. As they were playing, I stayed over in the right and remembered all the great times we've shared in this place... all the times it was or wasn't packed... all the times Josh beat me up in the pits... all the times Jungle TV was there to film us... all the times that the crowd was being entertained by us in the moshpit... the time that Dana and Heather wanted to beat me up for dating Johanna... all the times that Dana held or kissed me... all the times that I made fun of Alex Adler... the time that I proposed to Dana at the camp fire that me, her, and Caitlin made in the parking lot... all the C.D. release parties... all the times we had official bands show up in our home venue... all the long serious discussions about music with Alex Ondina... all the crappy Thursday shows that no one showed up to... the time that me and Brian got stranded there and John Cuilla had to take us home... all the times that me and Taylor just goofed off acting like idiots... the time that we had to say goodbye to Shay (whatserface just broke up by the way)... all the times I watched my friends play in their band on that stage... all the times that we hung out the bands and stuff. It's just so sad to see this place disappear like that. So Dana took me by the hand and brought me over to watch one:. In their first song the place turned into a big moshpit and I jumped in. Halfway through the song someone threw a beer on the ground, and spilt everywhere, and everyone in the pit (including me) just slipped and fell to their asses. It was just like when they played at MERRY METAL XMAS where one second I'd look at Dana, and the next I 'd be in the pit. So, me and everyone was singing everyone of their songs. Some guy standin next to me was like "Hey, did you see them when they played here?" and I was like "I've seen them about eight times here" and he was like "Holy Shit!" John gave this little speech basically saying "Lake Park, if you don't want us on our street, fine, fuck you, you can kiss my roc and roll ass." At the end of their set they took a picture of all of us. I found Dana and kissed her goodbye. The legacy of THE KELSEY CLUB couldn't have ended any better than it did like that.
