entry:

Hmm.... I never thought there would be a venue in Jupiter Farms.... oh wait, that's right, THE END isn't a real venue, it's a church with a crappy sound system and a sign in front that says "THE END". So, anyways, it was during the first semester of eleventh grade. My mommy drove me there. I got out and there was Danny Simmons, his old girlfriend Michelle, Michelle's sister Nicky, Luke, and Lee sitting in front of the doors at a table waiting for people to come. They put a purple stamp of a heart with an arrow through it. This was supposed to symbolize that I get in free because I am friends with the people working there (mostly Danny since he's known me since I was born), who are also members of KNOW THE ENEMY. KNOW THE ENEMY is actually the reason I went. I went to support my friends and their band. Then Ana gets there. Then Danny Ryan gets there. Then Rose gets there. Then Monty and Chudi get there. Then I get introduced to the only members of KNOW THE ENEMY that I didn't know, Travis and James. Hey what a coincidence, it's like my first two names, you know, James Travis (then you just need Finch). I love James, he is sooooooo funny. Then Phil gets there. Phil s a man with a fish eye, and I have literally seen him at every hard core concert I have been to. John Park was there of course. John Park is the drummer from tastemylaser who I have seen at ever hard core concert in Palm Beach County I have been to. Then the show starts and I sit in the sound booth with my buddy, Josh Ragers. A JEALOUSY ISSUE & tomorrow holds forever all cancelled. That sucks cause I really wanted to see my friends from THF play, but at least Monty and Chudi showed up. Fallen from an Empire played. They suck ass. BARRIERS NOW BRIDGES came on. They kick ass. Josh made me control the lights during the set by playing with 3 buttons on the light panel. Then KNOW THE ENEMY came on, and since Josh is in that band, Phil had to take his place on sound. Though, he left the booth to go "dance" during their whole set. Here's the line up: Luke and Lee on vocals (aw, brother and sister), James & Danny S. on guitar, Josh on bass, and Travis on drums. They only played like 4 songs. They covered UNITE by Throwdown. People were dancing like crazy. I don't understand why it's called dancing when it really looks like a bunch of spazmic kids trying to imitate a lame, cheezy kung-fu movie, but whatever. So, they did really well. Then Dreams You Die In came on, and they suck. No one danced to them. Then Anam Cara came on. They are fucking awesome. The singer's mike suddenly stopped working, and josh, Luke, and Danny spent the whole first song trying to fix it. Then, when they finally did fix it, they were having sound problems, but the three sound people were outside. So everyone is looking at me who is the sound booth and doesn't know how to work this shit so I had to go get them to fix it. The rest of their set was really good though. The last band was in due time. They really fucking rock also. They tore that shit up. I don't know why, but all night people were dancing with this plastic bat in their hands... whatever. So, then Danny took me home.
