entry:

Yah, so, I had been waiting a long time to see this happen. A KANA reunion show.....wow. I remember when they skiplife in my eighth grade year and I never got to listen to them. Then I remember them in my ninth grade year when they got really good and called themselves KANA and their keyboardist Dagon (Chris Davis whatever the fuck, god damnit) gave me their demo and I hated it. It wasn't until after they broke up that I realized how fucking good that demo really was. So, however many years later, here we are. It is the during the "hurricane break" in the first semester of twelfth grade. Not only is this a reunion show, but it's also a post Halloween party. So I dressed up in my rockstar outfit (you know the white oxford, Mickey Mouse tie, black high-waters, long black socks, and black coots) since I'll never get to be a rock star anyways. We get there and nobody is dressed up except for one girl that's dressed as a fairy. The only people I know there are KANA. Oh, here's the line-up (asi f you don't know): Ates (later in taste my laser & ECHO ME, ASTRONAUT) = vocals, Aaron (previously in SkAnKhUtT & CONVULSION; later in taste my laser) = guitar, Nick (previously in SkAnKhUtT & CONVULSION; later in taste my laser) = bass, Skyler (don't now much) = guitar, & Andrew (later in 7 Rooms & BECOMING FINAL) = drums. Sorry kids, no more Chris and Dan. Anyways, so, yah. We talked to Andrew for a while. Then John Park got there. Then Alex Ondina, Dominic Ondina, & Brian Hession ot there. Then KANA took the  stage (more like a piece of wood in the back yard). Of coures, they opened with Danger. Then they played Houdini. Then Ates was all like "this is the most anticipated reunion since LED-ZEPPELIN or VAN HALEN." They all had their back turned away from us the whole time. After a couple more songs, Ates was like "If you want us to face you, go stand on the other side..........or both sides so you can trick us." They played Cardiac Arrest and then My Name Is Mud. At one point Ates was all like "As you can see......we get better with age.....This is the best turn out we've ever had......you should've seen our crowds in Japan."  I forgot to mention, throughout their whole set, John Park and all these kids, like, they started this thing called creature of the night or somehintg where during every song they would like prance around jumping in the air acting like a gargoyle or something, and at the beginning of the last song they played, Twelve Signs, a million kids were crawling around acting like gargoyles. So after they finished, we left.
